VES-Mini

There is no smaller, lighter weight, wider field Keplerian bioptic than the Ocutech 3x VES-Mini. The VES-Mini is only half the size of traditional Keplerian telescopes, weighs less than an ounce, and focuses quickly to as close as 9 inches! It is prescribed in a traditional through-the-lens mounting design, and can be prescribed for one or both eyes. It’s available in both black and silver. It is very popular for bioptic driving and ideal for individuals with moderate vision loss of 20/150 or better.

Description

The Ocutech VES-Mini is an innovative, miniature 3x expanded field (Keplerian) bioptic telescope system. It provides a combination of an unusually wide 15-degree field-of-view in a very compact physical design. The VES-Mini is equivalent in size to small focusing Galilean telescopes and only half the size of most competitors expanded field telescopes. The Mini’s crisp, bright optics provide internal focusing for refractive errors from +12 to –12 and for near viewing to as close as 7 inches.

The convenient diagnostic kit makes it easy to demonstrate and prescribe this high quality telescope system with a minimum of time, effort and risk.The VES-Mini is prescribed as any other conventional bioptic telescope system and can be ordered for monocular or binocular use and for distance and near applications.
